«Flying Bull» (letra)

por Arturo Pardo · 15 de diciembre, 2010

Every sunday in the morning the people fill the stands
They are waiting for a bullfight, the bulls wait for their chance
Chance to break out of their prison and battle to survive
In a bullring filled with killers that want to take their lifes

Fying, flying bull; he was in panic flying bull
Trying to scape from the bullring, flying bull

Once he smelled the scent of freedom his courage made him jump
Sored above the walls of torture and landed on the crowd
Then he went into a rampage and people had to run
So that sunday in the morning the bull got his revenge

Fying, flying bull; he was in panic flying bull
Trying to scape from the bullring, flying bull

«Flowerspring» (letra)

por Arturo Pardo · 4 de octubre, 2010

You should write a book, you may write a song, with all that poetry under your coat.
First go over the lyrics and then go over the cords, or you can draw the notes before singing the tune.

Heart from the forest, spirit soft as wind
That’s why you blossom like flowers in the spring

You could be a painting, you could be a tale, you could be a movie about balloons and games.
Writing your own story is what makes you glad, abandoning reflextions is what makes you sad.

Let me see your drawings, let me read your book, let us enjoy life, let me whistle with you.
Would you be so gently to sit next to me, when would you let me give you a kiss?

Heart from the forest, spirit soft as wind
That’s why you blossom like flowers in the spring

«Ending» (letra)

por Arturo Pardo · 4 de octubre, 2010

Blending, blending again
Dreaming, dreaming you never left
Timing seems to be the best
Sun is going to the west like then

Light shines softly through your hair
Music in the air sounds with your breath
Smiling, crying with faithfulness
Promise I will never go away

Mornings without sunshine, nights without a moon above
Let me know when you’re coming back home
Oceans with no water, fire without a flame to burn
I know you’re not going to return

Ending, ending of this tale
Fading, fading away
Live yor life with no regrets
You will know when you should go away

Smile and cry and love the rest
Share your feelings with the ones that stay
I’m dreaming that you never left
But I know that you never came that day

Mornings without sunshine, nights without a moon above
Let me know when you’re coming back home
Oceans with no water, fire without a flame to burn
I know you’re not going to return

«Loneliness» (letra)

por Arturo Pardo · 29 de septiembre, 2010

Chasing bunnies in the garden, growing flowers with the morning sun
they know you love ‘em
Chatted hours, written letters, we all know there’s someone
that you want to be your best friend

But there’s no one that could be your friend
just too many people with familiar faces
there are days when you feel all alone
and you just want to ask for support
Your hope fades away… away

People that you think you know, a giant list of numbers in your phone
and there’s no one to count on.
A book of stories you could tell, a million places for a date but you
have no one to go with.

You have sparkling eyes and make up face
that is all that you can show to hide your sadness.
You should smoke cigars and drink some wine
Just to show yourself that they’re your best companion.

Between the silent walls no one talks, my agony remains inside my room
so no one will notice
I recall my early days, never thought that I would be alone
with no one to love me.

The clouds get dark and the rain falls
crying eyes and broken voice… No more!
In the echoes something let me think
there is someone that might love me while I’m dying

*La estructura de esta pieza se divide en tres partes: la primera cantada e interpretada por Bissinger, la segunda por Pardo y la tercera por ambos en un canon y terminando con la letra armonizada.

«Between the World and Me» (letra)

por Arturo Pardo · 29 de septiembre, 2010

There’s a hole world outside my window
I’ve heard many times that it spins while I’m breathing
That’s why people in China are awake while I sleep
And the sun goes down every afternoon and hides in the sea

I believe in evolution thanks to monkeys and Darwin
I don’t trust in institutions that repeat the tales of Adam and Eve
I think that we’re not alone in this huge solar system
It’s an egocentric thought to deny the existence of UFOs

I can see the world that’s outside my window, but a wall keeps me inside

In my mind there are conspiracy theories
about evil companies that move the brain of this world
That’s why people disappear every night while I sleep
and corrupt politicians reach the power even though they are mean

I will like to go outside to defend my ideas
I prefer to risk my life and not be quiet for the rest of my days
I live between four walls that are as thick as a brick
That’s the punishment for “mad men”, for “mad men” like me

I can see the world that’s outside my window, but a wall keeps me inside

I was silenced for a lifetime, against my freedom of speech
I’m a prisoner for having my own beliefs, but in my mind I’m free
I’m not the only one with this conviction, I know you’ll like to come with me
We can go swimming against the waves, together no one will be afraid

I can see the world that’s outside my window, but a wall keeps me inside

*Esta pieza es interpretada con bajo y charango, aún no ha sido grabada en estudio.
